Photo Food Journal Week 3 Day 5

Snow, snow, blowing snow and oh so cold.  Stayed indoors all day with hubby staying warm.  Don't think I have to go out tomorrow either.  But Thursday is another story.  Later.

For breakfast  I made myself a bowl of grits with 1 t. butter.  Then made a pot of Chili about 11:30.  For dinner hubby picked beef kabasa sausages and sauerkraut.  I had read something about washing off the sauerkraut and thought I'd try that since I don't really like the stuff.  It wasn't bad.  I ate it with 2 oz of the meat (5pts) and 1/2 c. canned corn. Not the healthiest day of eating.  Should have had fruit and fresh veggies.  

Grits with butter

1 1/2 cups chili and 1 oz of baked tortilla chips

1 corn muffin and 1 tea. butter (6 pts)

Yummy pickle.

2 oz of meat and 1/2 c. corn with sauerkraut
 I think its time to call it quits for the day and therefore not eat anymore.  I didn't have dairy today, nor the veggies and fruits I should have.   Stayed within points though.

Photo Food Journal Week 3 Day 4

January 31, Monday.  Getting ready for the snow storm moving in.   Quick breakfast below, then ran to the office and ended up getting really early paycheck so now I had bank run to do.  Thus the cute little lime sucker.  I didn't have time for lunch so grabbed the mocha fiber bar out of my glove box.  It really was not very good.  Not at all like the Kelloggs brand.


2 Turkey Sausages with one bread and 8 oz milk for 7 pts.


Is this even a full point?

Won't be buying this flavor again.  Yuck! 

OK, OK, not the best meal.  KFC YUM!

Didn't quite add up my 2 chicken breasts, biscuit, mashed tators with gravy and cole slaw.  I did take the skin off for the most part.  I actually ordered grilled and got home with home style. Bummer.  I really like their grilled chicken.

94% ff popcorn about 6 cups.
2 snack well cookies 2 pts plus milk 3 pts
 I actually had 1 1/2 cups of milk for 4.5 pts.  It was the last of the carton.  Those cookies are a great bargain at only 1 point each. 

Photo Food Journal Week 3 Day 3

Sunday, January 30, 2011.  I have pictures to download from my iPhone.  I had a lovely omelet for breakfast with one egg plus one egg white, peppers of all 3 colors and a touch of green onion.  I also had 3 turkey sausage links.  Later that day, running around with my hubby,    I ate 1 tator tot and then had dinner out with friends at the Interurban.  I had an 8 oz sirloin, sweet potato fries, steamed broccoli, and 1/4th of a beer muffin.  I later that evening had 94% ff popcorn.  I still am not sure of the fries, but counted them as 10 pts and my steak as 10 pts.  This day took me over by 5 pts of my extras.   Still a good day for being a weekend.

Photo Food Journal Week 3 Day 2

Saturday, January 29.  Slept in pretty late so made a nice lunch of Manwich Sloppy Joes.  So great to be back on track.  I also had a bite of my DH's pizza for 3 pts, and a 1/2 c. milk.   Almost caught up with my posts now.    This was also a special evening as my DH and I got to babysit our DARLING GRANDDAUGHTER.  She was a gem.

2 Sloppy Joes on light buns with lots of pickles (10 pts)

Cole Slaw used only 1 T dressing @ 1.5 pts

Fresh Pineapple @ ZERO pts.

Invented Bok Choy salad with Asian dressing and little beef.

Lovely piece of chocolate brought to me that night.

Photo Food Journal Week 4 Day 1

January 28.  Doing GREAT.  Back on track.  Fiber Bar (3 pt) as I ran out the door to get to my WW meeting.  Lost 2.6 this week and since huge gain last week it was very encouraging since I hadn't really tracked.

For Lunch I came home and made myself a Roast Beef Sandwich with Swiss for 5 pts.
Dinner was 3 pieces of Ginger Sushi (the only one I have ever liked) and a beef stir fry.  I estimated dinner to only be about 8 pts.  Also had a salad with ginger dressing.  After we had our congregational services that night I still had 13 pts left.  I created a nice little dessert for myself.  Check it out below.

Photo Food Journal Week 3 Days 4-7

The pictures start fading at this point. My tracking journal is sure empty.  This will be my only post with no pictures.  I have no idea what I've eaten these 4 days and I sure don't want to strain my brain thinking.    This will get me caught up to the fresh, fresh start for January 28.

 

Photo Food Journal Week 3 Days 2/3

Here are my pictures of the next 2 days or at least what I have of them.  We did go to a movie in the afternoon on January 22 seeing "The King's Speech".  Great movie BTW.  Oatmeal for Breakfast, City Bites for lunch, NO POPCORN at movie, and nice steak dinner made at home.

Had Taco Bell for Brunch and added lots of tomatoes at home and had 8 oz of 0% milk too.  For dinner had my Lamb and Green Bean stew.  Don't know what else I ate that day.  Sure can't remember.
