This is my first attempt at blogging.  I started this on my FB notes page, but do not want to be so public.  I would prefer to have a private place for my thoughts and photo food journal journey.  I will be posting the previous days of my Photo Food Journal that began on Friday, January 7th, 2011.
I am a member of Weight Watchers (WW) and have been since March 13th of 2008.  I refuse to quit this time.  This is the 3rd time I have been involved with WW since moving to Norman, OK almost 19 years ago.  I will be posting the WW points using the new Points Plus program. 
I got the idea of photo journaling from seeing the picture of the leader in the new materials that shows everything she ate in one day.  I saw this last year when the program was introduced, but had so much frustration at the new program that I really didn't want to have anything to do with it.  I didn't like having to learn something new when I have known the points program for so many years.  After several weeks and realizing that the new program is really for the best, I came up with this idea of how to make tracking a priority.  I have never liked tracking.  That picture of all the food eaten in a single day sparked a thought that this could be a fun way to track.  To take pictures of everything that went into my mouth.  
Four days into this has proven very successful and blogging is my new way to keep accountable to myself.
